The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Özcan Temizer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of TAUS SK booed when Nizip FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özcan Temizer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fadıl Muren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökhan Kazan, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Fadıl Muren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hüseyin Uğuz in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökhan Kazan in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fadıl Muren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hulusi Salim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes TAUS SK got a freekick which was hit by Aytekin Kutay. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökhan Kazan in the 27th minute of play forced Nizip FK's goalkeeper Fadıl Muren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Gökhan Kazan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fadıl Muren, 2-0. After 34 played minutes, Nizip FK's Tarkan Çağnur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aytaç Safvet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nizip FK reached it. Gökhan Kazan might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fadıl Muren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gökhan Kazan ran back to his position shaking his head. If Aytekin Kutay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hüseyin Uğuz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fadıl Muren firmly grabbed it by the left post. 44 minutes into the match, Nizip FK's goalkeeper Fadıl Muren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hüseyin Uğuz. In the 46th minute, Ersan Denizer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fadıl Muren. The goal made the score 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

TAUS SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hüseyin Uğuz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fadıl Muren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
