Eyüp Özay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emran Mutluer in the 19th minute. A collision led to TC SS TÜRKİYE getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alişan Tanzer hit a great ball. Hayri Özonder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eyüp Özay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. With his leg Eyüp Özay managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when TC SS TÜRKİYE's Emran Mutluer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hayri Özonder might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eyüp Özay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hayri Özonder ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th match minute, Gürsu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atabey Acabay to maneuver through the defense. Emran Mutluer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Eyüp Özay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44thth minute of the game Hayri Özonder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gürsu's Eyüp Özay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gürsu's zone, Hayri Özonder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eyüp Özay came out of the goal and Hayri Özonder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emran Mutluer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Mehmet Bilge Yavuzay made the kick off in the second half. Hayri Özonder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eyüp Özay having to interfere. Emran Mutluer struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Eyüp Özay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TC SS TÜRKİYE. After a rather tough play, TC SS TÜRKİYE's Korhan Rafettin got a free kick in the 57th minute. Hayri Özonder got in the 62nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Eyüp Özay handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Göktürk İley's late challenge caught a Gürsu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Göktürk İley helped the player get up and apologised. TC SS TÜRKİYE walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
