Ahmet Gökalp Eroğul made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Cüneyt Cebeci sent off a good shot on target. Cüneyt Cebeci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Gökalp Eroğul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlmi Tanyol in the 7th minute of play. Ahmet Gökalp Eroğul made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cüneyt Cebeci in the 9th minute. If Cüneyt Cebeci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şamil Canfeda kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fırat Yıldırımtürk in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Turgut Adıgüzel saved Solhan FK from getting behind. Ünsal Serir's late challenge caught a Sᴘᴏʀᴛɪғ Dɪʀᴇᴋᴛöʀ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ünsal Serir helped the player get up and apologised. Ünsal Serir kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Solhan FK's goal looked a bit too open when Peyami Hazar came free, but Turgut Adıgüzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sᴘᴏʀᴛɪғ Dɪʀᴇᴋᴛöʀ's Ahmet Gökalp Eroğul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Sᴘᴏʀᴛɪғ Dɪʀᴇᴋᴛöʀ from getting a goal against them. Peyami Hazar took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Turgut Adıgüzel. Turgut Adıgüzel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Şamil Canfeda kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Sᴘᴏʀᴛɪғ Dɪʀᴇᴋᴛöʀ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emrullah Topel to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sᴘᴏʀᴛɪғ Dɪʀᴇᴋᴛöʀ's zone, Cüneyt Cebeci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Gökalp Eroğul came out of the goal and Cüneyt Cebeci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sᴘᴏʀᴛɪғ Dɪʀᴇᴋᴛöʀ's Fırat Yıldırımtürk in 41 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Turgut Adıgüzel guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 41st match minute, Solhan FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolga Ulucan to maneuver through the defense. If Peyami Hazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Fırat Yıldırımtürk came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Sᴘᴏʀᴛɪғ Dɪʀᴇᴋᴛöʀ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fırat Yıldırımtürk couldn't finish the play. Sᴘᴏʀᴛɪғ Dɪʀᴇᴋᴛöʀ's Peyami Hazar got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peyami Hazar to strike the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Gökalp Eroğul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolga Ulucan, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Fırat Yıldırımtürk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Turgut Adıgüzel made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Solhan FK's Abdurrezzak Oğuzman got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-1 when İlmi Tanyol sped through Sᴘᴏʀᴛɪғ Dɪʀᴇᴋᴛöʀ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ahmet Gökalp Eroğul. Cüneyt Cebeci struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Ahmet Gökalp Eroğul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solhan FK. The Sᴘᴏʀᴛɪғ Dɪʀᴇᴋᴛöʀ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Gökalp Eroğul should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute Peyami Hazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgut Adıgüzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
