In the 8th minute, Olcay Çağlayan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute of the match Göksel Hezarfen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Birol Şikel skillfully saved the ball. If Mehmet Efe Tosunoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Liverpool's Ahmet Kağan Özduran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save FC Liverpool from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Ali Berkant Akaydın got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Suat Heper charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Suat Heper the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, FC Liverpool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Suat Heper to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Kağan Özduran was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Reşit Kartal. Ahmet Kağan Özduran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Berkant Akaydın in the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Liverpool's zone, Sarp Okyay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Kağan Özduran came out of the goal and Sarp Okyay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Kağan Özduran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Berkant Akaydın, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Sarp Okyay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Istanbulspor JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sarp Okyay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Kağan Özduran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 40 played minutes FC Liverpool got a freekick which was hit by Göksel Hezarfen. 41 minutes into the game, Ali Berkant Akaydın recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ahmet Kağan Özduran. Ali Berkant Akaydın showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0.

The wind increased when Ali Berkant Akaydın made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes, FC Liverpool's Gürel Şahin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Birol Şikel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Liverpool reached it. Ahmet Kağan Özduran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Berkant Akaydın in the 56th minute of the match. Birol Şikel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cemil Adıvar in the 57th minute. Ahmet Kağan Özduran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Berkant Akaydın in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Berkant Akaydın in the 64th minute of play forced FC Liverpool's goalkeeper Ahmet Kağan Özduran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Istanbulspor JK's zone, Atacan Renan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birol Şikel came out of the goal and Atacan Renan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Istanbulspor JK's Olcay Çağlayan got a free kick in the 66th minute. Atacan Renan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rdth minute of the game Atacan Renan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Istanbulspor JK's Birol Şikel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th match minute, FC Liverpool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Suat Heper to maneuver through the defense. After 80 minutes of play, Istanbulspor JK's Ali Berkant Akaydın made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Kağan Özduran was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, FC Liverpool's Suat Heper ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Birol Şikel. Birol Şikel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Ahmet Kağan Özduran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sarp Okyay, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Birol Şikel came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Liverpool's Cemil Adıvar. But to his dismay, Cemil Adıvar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
