Birol Şikel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kıvanç Yiğiter went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 6th minute, Azmi Tor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Sarp Okyay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nafiz Ciner was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ali Berkant Akaydın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Nafiz Ciner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kıvanç Yiğiter in the 28th minute of play forced Istanbulspor JK's goalkeeper Birol Şikel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kıvanç Yiğiter struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Birol Şikel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kastamonuspor. 48 minutes into the match, Istanbulspor JK's goal looked a bit too open when Kıvanç Yiğiter came free, but Birol Şikel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ali Berkant Akaydın made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Kastamonuspor's goal looked a bit too open when Olcay Çağlayan came free, but Nafiz Ciner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Istanbulspor JK's Ali Berkant Akaydın in the 58th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Nafiz Ciner was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Kastamonuspor through an amazing save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kıvanç Yiğiter in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Birol Şikel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seyhan Akadlı in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Birol Şikel saved Istanbulspor JK from getting behind. Nafiz Ciner made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Sarp Okyay sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute of the match, Ali Berkant Akaydın tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nafiz Ciner saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mehmet Efe Tosunoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kıvanç Yiğiter in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 87thth minute of the game Kıvanç Yiğiter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Istanbulspor JK's Birol Şikel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kastamonuspor's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
