In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Avcilar SK's goalkeeper Mehmet Bilge Sonay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Batu Şahinhan fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avcilar SK's protests and gave Batu Şahinhan a yellow card for diving instead. Batu Şahinhan kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Mehmet Bilge Sonay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celil Akgün, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Özcan Oyman's late challenge caught a Bozcaada FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Özcan Oyman helped the player get up and apologised. Özcan Oyman hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bozcaada FK's Ahmet Koralp Yorangil got a free kick in the 11th minute. Tolga Menderess short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Atilla Gariboğlu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The corner ended in Hazım Demircan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bozcaada FK's Atilla Gariboğlu did a great save. In the 16th minute, Tolga Menderes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Macit Durukan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Bozcaada FK's Atilla Gariboğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Bozcaada FK from getting a goal against them. Tolga Menderes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Atilla Gariboğlu made a huge save. Atilla Gariboğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tolga Menderes in the 34th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Ahmet Orhan Koçaslan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avcilar SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Orhan Koçaslan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atilla Gariboğlu was a little too slow when Ahmet Orhan Koçaslan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 3-0. After 45 played minutes Bozcaada FK got a freekick which was hit by Oğuzkan Seyfi. Atilla Gariboğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Orhan Koçaslan in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 55th minute Ahmet Orhan Koçaslan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilla Gariboğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tolga Menderes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hazım Demircan hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, Avcilar SK's Ahmet Orhan Koçaslan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atilla Gariboğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Celil Akgün managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bozcaada FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Celil Akgün was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Bilge Sonay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atilla Gariboğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolga Menderes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atilla Gariboğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tolga Menderes's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Celil Akgün struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Mehmet Bilge Sonay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bozcaada FK. After 79 minutes of play Avcilar SK's Batu Şahinhan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Avcilar SK getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Batu Şahinhan hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute Boğaçhan Suerdem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilla Gariboğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tolga Menderes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hazım Demircan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Avcilar SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
