One of Güroymak JK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Devrek SK:s goal. The goalkeeper, Ahmet Haşim Şavat, was totally fooled by Devrek SK's Ahmet Hasan Onursan, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Servet Hürmetli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Güroymak JK's goalkeeper Ahmet Haşim Şavat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zafer Özduran. A collision led to Güroymak JK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Fedai Sartık hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Servet Hürmetli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Haşim Şavat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Zafer Özduran notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Güroymak JK's Ahmet Haşim Şavat. Ahmet Haşim Şavat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute Devrek SK were awarded a corner. Ahmet Hasan Onursan went to the cornerflag to take it. Devrek SK's Ahmet Hasan Onursan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ahmet Haşim Şavat in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 34 minutes into the match, Devrek SK's Zafer Özduran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Haşim Şavat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ahmet Haşim Şavat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Servet Hürmetli's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Cengiz Doğangün hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd match minute, Devrek SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güner Bera to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Hürkan Sezgin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Hakan Yönet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arif Bilge Özerdinc charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ahmet Hakan Yönet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yahya Kemal Sulhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hürkan Sezgin to make the kick off. If Yahya Kemal Sulhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hürkan Sezgin got free with Ahmet Hakan Yönet in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yahya Kemal Sulhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Hakan Yönet having to interfere. Burhanettin İrfanoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Ahmet Haşim Şavat came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Devrek SK's Servet Hürmetli. But to his dismay, Servet Hürmetli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gökçek Kaim's late challenge caught a Güroymak JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gökçek Kaim helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, one of Devrek SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Devrek SK. In the 93rd minute of the match Gökçek Kaim sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Haşim Şavat skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Devrek SK booed when Güroymak JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedai Sartık didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Güroymak JK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Devrek SK.
