After a rather tough play, İSPİR FK's Gencal Vasif got a free kick in the 22nd minute. İSPİR FK's Sakut Uyarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Poyraz Kornes in the 27th minute of play. Uğur Salcan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sakut Uyarel. İSPİR FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ula's Seyfi Ulutay got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute of the match Tugay İbiş shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Güngör Akgüngör showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Baskın Sezmen came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Ula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baskın Sezmen couldn't finish the play. Güngör Akgüngör was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Rıfat Özden capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rıfat Özden really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 53rd minute of the match Ula got a corner. İSPİR FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Poyraz Kornes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Poyraz Kornes made a great header on Ula's corner, it was just that İSPİR FK's Sakut Uyarel managed to reach the ball for a save. If Latif Keskin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gencal Vasif scored 2-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Güngör Akgüngör, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Poyraz Kornes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Sakut Uyarel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, İSPİR FK's Sakut Uyarel got control of the ball when Korkutalp Sanal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ula's zone, Rıfat Özden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güngör Akgüngör came out of the goal and Rıfat Özden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Poyraz Kornes in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sakut Uyarel saved İSPİR FK from getting behind. A collision led to İSPİR FK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Latif Keskin hit a great ball. When Ula's Poyraz Kornes in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye İSPİR FK's goalie prevented a goal. İSPİR FK's Sakut Uyarel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save İSPİR FK from getting a goal against them. If Poyraz Kornes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Latif Keskin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güngör Akgüngör saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İSPİR FK's Tugay İbiş couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ula. After some careless play in the Ula defense, Rıfat Özden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Güngör Akgüngör. The Ula fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Güngör Akgüngör should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Latif Keskin in the 93rd minute of play forced Ula's goalkeeper Güngör Akgüngör to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uğur Salcan kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Ula's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
