In the 6th match minute, sarıyerspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umur Yastıkcığlu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of sarıyerspor booed when Zurnacılar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferid Kavi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Savaşer Uysal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gökberk Mübarek in the 12th minute. The supporters of Zurnacılar booed when sarıyerspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürcan Yezid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Burhan Özgunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gürel Eğriöz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zurnacılar's goalkeeper Gürel Eğriöz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, sarıyerspor's Gürcan Yezid got a free kick in the 22nd minute. sarıyerspor's Ahmet Reha Akalp couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Zurnacılar. A hard shot 33 in the game by Gökberk Mübarek from a close distance when the talented Savaşer Uysal managed to make a qualified save. sarıyerspor's players were relieved. Gökberk Mübarek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Savaşer Uysal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asaf Oğuzkan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Savaşer Uysal having to make a save. Savaşer Uysal came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Zurnacılar's Gökberk Mübarek. But to his dismay, Gökberk Mübarek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 48thth minute of the game Asaf Oğuzkan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but sarıyerspor's Savaşer Uysal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Asaf Oğuzkan to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play Zurnacılar's Mustafa Birol Çokman was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A hard shot by Ahmet Reha Akalp from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Gürel Eğriöz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gürel Eğriöz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanju Erkinay, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Zurnacılar's zone, Burhan Özgunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürel Eğriöz came out of the goal and Burhan Özgunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zurnacılar's Gürel Eğriöz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Zurnacılar from getting a goal against them. When Zurnacılar's Gökberk Mübarek in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye sarıyerspor's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th minute, sarıyerspor's Burhan Özgunes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gürel Eğriöz. Gürel Eğriöz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by sarıyerspor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Atilla Kuddus was slow to take the kick. During this time Zurnacılar's players had a chance to rest. Zurnacılar's Atilla Kuddus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Savaşer Uysal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 88 played minutes sarıyerspor got a freekick which was hit by Gürcan Yezid. In the 91st minute Gökberk Mübarek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Savaşer Uysal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gökberk Mübarek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Savaşer Uysal having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zurnacılar had won after a very even match.
