An unexpectedly hard shot by Anıl Arda Tutku in the 9th minute of play forced HANCILAR's goalkeeper Balamir Baysan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Anıl Arda Tutku managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elazig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anıl Arda Tutku was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to HANCILAR getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Seyhun Belek hit a great ball. Anıl Arda Tutku received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Balamir Baysan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fazıl Müftüoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Ercüment Tanberk missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 23 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Balamir Baysan right hand side. 28 minutes into the match, HANCILAR's goal looked a bit too open when Anıl Arda Tutku came free, but Balamir Baysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to HANCILAR getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Seyhun Belek hit a great ball. If Uğurcan Okan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aral Çetin might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Behlül Ocakoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aral Çetin ran back to his position shaking his head. Uğurcan Okan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Behlül Ocakoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anıl Arda Tutku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Baybora Besim fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HANCILAR's protests and gave Baybora Besim a yellow card for diving instead. Baybora Besim hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aral Çetin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Balamir Baysan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Behzat Ademoğlu's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Ali Behzat Ademoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Balamir Baysan having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Elazig's Hamdullah Yağmurdereli got a free kick in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Behzat Ademoğlu in the 72nd minute of play forced HANCILAR's goalkeeper Balamir Baysan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elazig's Anıl Arda Tutku got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Elazig booed when HANCILAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ant Refik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anıl Arda Tutku fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balamir Baysan having to interfere. Ali Behzat Ademoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
