After 7 minutes, Mahir Merdan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAMSUNG and the Talas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SAMSUNG getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Mahir Merdan hit a great ball. Akgün Arıkal hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Ziya Akabe got free in front of the goal in the 14th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Cenan Yağızkan was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okan Temizalp in the 17th minute of play forced Talas's goalkeeper Sabit Hıfzullah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Okan Temizalp in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sabit Hıfzullah saved Talas from getting behind. Sabit Hıfzullah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerim Yöner in the 21st minute of the match. A hard shot by Aykan Orhan from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Cenan Yağızkan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Ziya Akabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The nice shot from Ziya Akabe in the 29thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Cenan Yağızkan had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 31st minute of the match, Ziya Akabe got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cenan Yağızkan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 34th minute, Ziya Akabe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cenan Yağızkan. The goal made the score 1-0. Sabit Hıfzullah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akgün Arıkal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Ziya Akabe notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of SAMSUNG's Cenan Yağızkan. Cenan Yağızkan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ziya Akabes short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Cenan Yağızkan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 44 played minutes SAMSUNG got a freekick which was hit by Kerim Yöner.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ziya Akabe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ziya Akabe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cenan Yağızkan having to interfere. In the 58thth minute of the game Ziya Akabe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAMSUNG's Cenan Yağızkan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Talas's Ataman Kerimhan tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ziya Akabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cenan Yağızkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cenan Yağızkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziya Akabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 70th minute of the match Akgün Arıkal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Akgün Arıkal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, SAMSUNG's Akgün Arıkal got a free kick in the 71st minute. Emirhan Nurettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ziya Akabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Cenan Yağızkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabit Hıfzullah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alpay Usluer in the 83rd minute. Sabit Hıfzullah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hazım Öksüz in the 88th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, SAMSUNG's goal looked a bit too open when Ziya Akabe came free, but Cenan Yağızkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Okan Temizalp succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 97th playminute. SAMSUNG's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
