After a defensive mix-up in kaplan sea's zone, Alptuğ Malkoç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ayhan Sevgen came out of the goal and Alptuğ Malkoç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Ahmet Harun Kurban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 24 played minutes Kigi got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Harun Kurban. If Buğra Demirtaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Göktuğ Eyüpoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Müfit Cangun was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After some careless play in the kaplan sea defense, Alptuğ Malkoç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ayhan Sevgen. The kaplan sea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ayhan Sevgen should have stopped the shot. 45 minutes into the match, kaplan sea's goal looked a bit too open when Alptuğ Malkoç came free, but Ayhan Sevgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
