Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fikri Temcit took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Aktan Azimoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Kağan Eslem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Kağan Eslem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aktan Azimoğlu in the 5th minute of play. Henk Clarijs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Battal Gazi Ergönül read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Alkın Uruz scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Kağan Eslem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Mehmet Edip Teren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Kağan Eslem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aktan Azimoğlu in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Gercüs FK booed when Samandere FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naim Dalan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Battal Gazi Ergönül acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Numan Saim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Ekrem Selmi in the 26th minute of play forced Samandere FC's goalkeeper Battal Gazi Ergönül to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Alkın Uruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Samandere FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henk Clarijs in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Battal Gazi Ergönül saved Samandere FC from getting behind. Fikri Temcit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henk Clarijs to strike the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Ekrem Selmi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Battal Gazi Ergönül tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henk Clarijs in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Battal Gazi Ergönül saved Samandere FC from getting behind. After 59 minutes, Mehmet Edip Teren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samandere FC and the Gercüs FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Henk Clarijs might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Battal Gazi Ergönül. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henk Clarijs ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute of the match Olgun İncel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Kağan Eslem skillfully saved the ball. In the 65th match minute, Samandere FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Efe Sebuk to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rdth minute of the game Henk Clarijs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Samandere FC's Battal Gazi Ergönül was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With 79 minutes on the clock, Ali Nabi Kayaer commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gercüs FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Ahmet Kağan Eslem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Naim Dalan went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Samandere FC's Fikri Temcit in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gercüs FK's goalie prevented a goal. Mustafa Ekrem Selmi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Battal Gazi Ergönül having to interfere. Henk Clarijs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Battal Gazi Ergönül tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Fikri Temcit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samandere FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gercüs FK the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Fikri Temcit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Gercüs FK's Numan Saim tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Gercüs FK's Ahmet Kağan Eslem got control of the ball when Aktan Azimoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ahmet Kağan Eslem was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ahmet Efe Sebuk. When the final whistle went the supporters of Samandere FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Gercüs FK side.
