When Ramiz Taşan fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eylül FK's protests and gave Ramiz Taşan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Inönü SK booed when Eylül FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiz Taşan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Berkant Ocakçı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Faruk Üçok having to interfere. Hasan Hüseyin Tunak struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Basri Sekib didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eylül FK. Şemsettin Balamir hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Giray Kumanbay, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Nejat Suphi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ali Faruk Üçok was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ali Faruk Üçok took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nejat Suphi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nejat Suphi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Berkant Ocakçı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hasan Hüseyin Tunak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basri Sekib having to interfere. Arif Nefer hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Berkant Ocakçı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hasan Hüseyin Tunak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Hasan Hüseyin Tunak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Hasan Hüseyin Tunak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basri Sekib. Inönü SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hasan Hüseyin Tunak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Berkant Ocakçı in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Faruk Üçok saved Eylül FK from getting behind. In the 73rd minute, Eylül FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nejat Suphi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 77th minute, Ahmet Koralp Muhlis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ali Faruk Üçok, passed just outside the right post. If Hasan Hüseyin Tunak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nejat Suphi came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Inönü SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nejat Suphi couldn't finish the play. Eylül FK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Inönü SK for a fine match.
