Aksu's Atıf Arpacıoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Aksu from getting a goal against them. Vedat Yıldız fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Ekrem Köksal having to interfere. With a little luck, Aksu's Atıf Arpacıoğlu got control of the ball when Ensar Çetin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ensar Çetin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Atıf Arpacıoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kutay Salti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Özal Isfahanlı dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Atıf Arpacıoğlu, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özal Isfahanlı in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atıf Arpacıoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vedat Yıldız in the 49th minute of play forced Akcakale's goalkeeper Mustafa Ekrem Köksal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özal Isfahanlı to strike the kick off in the second half. Aksu's Atıf Arpacıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özal Isfahanlı in the 53rd minute of play.
