Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Servet Tuğser took the kick off in the first half of the match. Şahap Baldemir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Mehmet Ediz Şatıroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cumhur Kongur in the 12th minute of play forced Vanspor's goalkeeper Baykam Özalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aygün Özmert struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Baykam Özalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ilgin. Ilgin's Cumhur Kongur got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cumhur Kongur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baykam Özalp having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vanspor's goalkeeper Baykam Özalp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baykam Özalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cumhur Kongur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Şahap Baldemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Servet Tuğser's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Ediz Şatıroğlu was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Aygün Özmert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ilgin's supporters rose to their feet, but Aygün Özmert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baykam Özalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cumhur Kongur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Baykam Özalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ilgin booed when Vanspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duran Hatırlı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vanspor's Baykam Özalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cumhur Kongur in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aygün Özmert to strike the kick off in the second half. Şahap Baldemir might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mehmet Ediz Şatıroğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Şahap Baldemir ran back to his position shaking his head. Cumhur Kongur's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Baykam Özalp skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cumhur Kongur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Baykam Özalp made a huge save. After 59 played minutes Ilgin got a freekick which was hit by Ayberk Kasım. Mehmet Ediz Şatıroğlu came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Vanspor's Servet Tuğser. But to his dismay, Servet Tuğser quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Servet Tuğser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ediz Şatıroğlu having to interfere. Utkan Nasuh hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Şahap Baldemir took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Ediz Şatıroğlu. Mehmet Ediz Şatıroğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Mehmet Ediz Şatıroğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şahap Baldemir went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aygün Özmert got free with Baykam Özalp in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd match minute, Vanspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kayacan Haneci to maneuver through the defense. Duran Hatırlı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mehmet Ediz Şatıroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Servet Tuğser had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Ediz Şatıroğlu. Ilgin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Servet Tuğser was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Servet Tuğser in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Ediz Şatıroğlu saved Ilgin from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vanspor had won after a very even match.
