Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tuncay İlyas started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes kopuzspor FK got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Kenan Saygılı. In the 5th minute, Tuncay İlyas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, kopuzspor FK's Gürbüz Başayoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nurkan Tosunoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gürbüz Başayoğlu in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nurkan Tosunoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mehmet Bilge Öztarhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Müfit Kuray. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmet Bilge Öztarhan ran back to his position shaking his head. When Edirne's Mehmet Bilge Öztarhan in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Tuncay İlyas took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Müfit Kuray to make any attempt to save it. In the 40th minute, Gürbüz Başayoğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The kopuzspor FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Gürbüz Başayoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the kopuzspor FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gürbüz Başayoğlu couldn't finish the play.

Gürbüz Başayoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Müfit Kuray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuncay İlyas, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Gencalp Tanzer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The kopuzspor FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Nurkan Tosunoğlu was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Gencalp Tanzer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gencalp Tanzer really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. 79 minutes into the match, Edirne's goal looked a bit too open when Gürbüz Başayoğlu came free, but Nurkan Tosunoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Mehmet Bilge Öztarhan in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by kopuzspor FK's Hakkı Kenan Saygılı. Nurkan Tosunoğlu made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Gencalp Tanzer sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 86 minutes, Gencalp Tanzer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. kopuzspor FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gencalp Tanzer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nurkan Tosunoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürbüz Başayoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nurkan Tosunoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubén Marcilla in the 94th minute.
