Atabek Temcit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Orhan Seyfi Elmacıoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Gökcebey booed when Sütcüler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yüksel Ersayın didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Yüksel Revnak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sütcüler's Yavuz Ulutan got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Taha Durdu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Semi Cabir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reşat Şirvan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuz Ulutan, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atabek Temcit in the 34th minute of play forced Sütcüler's goalkeeper Orhan Seyfi Elmacıoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Sütcüler's Orhan Seyfi Elmacıoğlu got control of the ball when Yüksel Revnak tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute Gökcebey were awarded a corner. Taha Durdu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sütcüler's goalie and right to Hasret Garip. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sütcüler's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Orhan Seyfi Elmacıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atabek Temcit in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atabek Temcit to make the kick off. Orhan Seyfi Elmacıoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atabek Temcit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Atabek Temcit put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Orhan Seyfi Elmacıoğlu. Bulut Rikap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Orhan Seyfi Elmacıoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gökcebey's Bulut Rikap pulled a muscle in his back after 68 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Yüksel Ersayın's late challenge caught a Gökcebey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yüksel Ersayın helped the player get up and apologised. Yüksel Ersayın kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Yüksel Revnak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Yüksel Revnak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ali Orhan Akartürk kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Yüksel Revnak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orhan Seyfi Elmacıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Yüksel Revnak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yüksel Revnak scored 2-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orhan Seyfi Elmacıoğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Semi Cabir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
