Bayındır Mehmet Seza started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Atasanayi SK got a freekick which was hit by Necdet Ünlüer. A collision led to Yerköy JK getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Arkın Ersed hit a great ball. The tension between the Atasanayi SK and the Yerköy JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. 11 minutes into the game, one of Atasanayi SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 13 minutes, Yerköy JK's Necip Elmacı got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tuncer Oray. 16 minutes into the match, Atasanayi SK's Bayındır Mehmet Seza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdi Mehmet Engiay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arın Ferhat Ceylan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes Yerköy JK got a freekick which was hit by Batı Perkel. Arkın Ersed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuncer Oray having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Asım Tümenbay in the 36th minute of play forced Atasanayi SK's goalkeeper Tuncer Oray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Asım Tümenbay got free with Tuncer Oray in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st match minute, Atasanayi SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necdet Ünlüer to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Asım Tümenbay in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tuncer Oray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Yerköy JK booed when Atasanayi SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Necdet Ünlüer didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Batı Perkel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Yerköy JK. Necip Elmacı stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tuncer Oray. 2-0. In the 61st match minute, Yerköy JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkın Ersed to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkın Ersed in the 64th minute of play forced Atasanayi SK's goalkeeper Tuncer Oray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Batı Perkel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tuncer Oray. Atasanayi SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Batı Perkel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The Yerköy JK fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Yerköy JK's Ahmet Asım Tümenbay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ahmet Asım Tümenbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Asım Tümenbay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tuncer Oray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Tuncer Oray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Asım Tümenbay in the 85th minute of the match. If Bayındır Mehmet Seza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Batı Perkel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tuncer Oray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Asım Tümenbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
