Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dörtdivan's Afşar Safvet started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yusuf Ziya Başkaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orhan Toydemir in the 5th minute of play. When Bogazkale's Hacı Şahan in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dörtdivan's goalie prevented a goal. Mustafa Haydar Mansur charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Mustafa Haydar Mansur kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Afşar Safvet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dörtdivan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bogazkale the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Dörtdivan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afşar Safvet to maneuver through the defense. Sebati Kumukbay kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Afşar Safvet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eser Mertkal having to interfere. When Mustafa Haydar Mansur was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 20 minutes had been played. In the 20th match minute, Dörtdivan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Haydar Mansur to maneuver through the defense. Hacı Şahan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Yusuf Ziya Başkaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dörtdivan's zone, Orhan Toydemir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yusuf Ziya Başkaya came out of the goal and Orhan Toydemir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 minutes, Hacı Şahan made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Dörtdivan's Yusuf Ziya Başkaya tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hacı Şahan scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yusuf Ziya Başkaya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 39 minutes, Hacı Şahan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bogazkale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hacı Şahan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yusuf Ziya Başkaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orhan Toydemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 42 minutes of play, Bogazkale's Hacı Şahan made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yusuf Ziya Başkaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orhan Toydemir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hacı Şahan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hacı Şahan to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hacı Şahan in the 51st minute of play forced Dörtdivan's goalkeeper Yusuf Ziya Başkaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Yusuf Ziya Başkaya managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Bogazkale's Orhan Toydemir fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Hacı Şahan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Hacı Şahan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led Bogazkale's Muammer Selil to fire away a dangerous shot which Yusuf Ziya Başkaya despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dörtdivan's Yusuf Ziya Başkaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Dörtdivan from getting a goal against them. Yusuf Ziya Başkaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hacı Şahan in the 69th minute of the match. Orhan Toydemir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yusuf Ziya Başkaya having to interfere. A hard shot 75 in the game by Orhan Toydemir from a close distance when the talented Yusuf Ziya Başkaya managed to make a qualified save. Dörtdivan's players were relieved. When Hacı Şahan came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Bogazkale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hacı Şahan couldn't finish the play. Orhan Toydemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orhan Toydemir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yusuf Ziya Başkaya having to interfere. Yusuf Ziya Başkaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hacı Şahan's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. A collision led to Dörtdivan getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Doğuş Keskin hit a great ball. When the match was over Bogazkale could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dörtdivan throughout the match.
