The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Güneş Torcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fazıl Hüsnü Fırıncı in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hulki Gencer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 6 played minutes Bayramören got a freekick which was hit by Şanver Otaç. Kandilli's Arif Çelebi Usare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batıhan Acarbay in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Fazıl Hüsnü Fırıncı ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hulki Gencer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Çeliker Yaşanur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bayramören's zone, Fazıl Hüsnü Fırıncı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hulki Gencer came out of the goal and Fazıl Hüsnü Fırıncı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Nuratay İltekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fazıl Hüsnü Fırıncı in the 27th minute of play forced Bayramören's goalkeeper Hulki Gencer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hulki Gencer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fazıl Hüsnü Fırıncı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hulki Gencer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fazıl Hüsnü Fırıncı, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Fazıl Hüsnü Fırıncı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hulki Gencer having to interfere. Çeliker Yaşanur scored 0-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hulki Gencer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 68thth minute of the game Fazıl Hüsnü Fırıncı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bayramören's Hulki Gencer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Kandilli booed when Bayramören was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kılıçhan Çakar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fazıl Hüsnü Fırıncı in the 72nd minute of play forced Bayramören's goalkeeper Hulki Gencer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Bayramören's Hulki Gencer got control of the ball when Çeliker Yaşanur tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Kandilli getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Semih Tanbey hit a great ball. Bayramören's Mustafa Arif Vechi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kandilli. Arif Çelebi Usare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güneş Torcan in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kandilli's Semih Tanbey got a free kick in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fazıl Hüsnü Fırıncı in the 83rd minute of play forced Bayramören's goalkeeper Hulki Gencer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arın Ferhat Buyruk's late challenge caught a Kandilli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arın Ferhat Buyruk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Arın Ferhat Buyruk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hulki Gencer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fazıl Hüsnü Fırıncı's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Kandilli's Arif Çelebi Usare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batıhan Acarbay in the 87th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kandilli walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
