In the 7th minute, Devlet Ispartalı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Cankaya's Beşir Giyas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bedirhan İpekdal in the 12th minute of play forced ZeynmuS F.C's goalkeeper Mustafa Hakan Bakkalbaşı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Ahmet Asım Seyhun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergün Saykut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Aytunç Tuncel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mehmet Hakkı Akçan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ergün Saykut stood somewhat misplaced when Ahmet Asım Seyhun came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 24 minute. Ergün Saykut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Asım Seyhun, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Bedirhan İpekdal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mustafa Hakan Bakkalbaşı having to make a save. Devlet Ispartalı kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the ZeynmuS F.C defense, Bedirhan İpekdal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Hakan Bakkalbaşı. The ZeynmuS F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Hakan Bakkalbaşı should have stopped the shot. ZeynmuS F.C's Mustafa Hakan Bakkalbaşı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bedirhan İpekdal in the 43rd minute of play. Bedirhan İpekdal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bedirhan İpekdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Asım Seyhun to strike the kick off in the second half. Ergün Saykut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Asım Seyhun in the 52nd minute of play. Başaran Nevruz kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Mehmet Hakkı Akçan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 56 played minutes ZeynmuS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Aytunç Tuncel. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Mehmet Emin Ecemiş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cankaya's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Emin Ecemiş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Hakan Bakkalbaşı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aytunç Tuncel kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Mehmet Emin Ecemiş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Hakan Bakkalbaşı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bedirhan İpekdal in the 65th minute of play. Mehmet Hakkı Akçan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ergün Saykut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
