MKE ANKARAGÜCÜ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kayseri the free kick. Bahadırhan Doğulu hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Kayseri's Dilaver Akşin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for MKE ANKARAGÜCÜ. Anıl Cenk Reha took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zülfü Mengüalp. Zülfü Mengüalp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Derviş Canatan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 42 minutes, Rıfat Yanar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kayseri and the MKE ANKARAGÜCÜ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Umut Arıcan made the kick off in the second half. If Rıfat Yanar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. MKE ANKARAGÜCÜ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bahadır Aliyar in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Umut Arıcan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kayseri's İlyas Tolga Yaşer got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Kayseri getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. İlyas Tolga Yaşer hit a great ball.
