Düzköy SK's Rahman Birhan got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kuzey Ucatekin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 7th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The supporters of Cankiri booed when Düzköy SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuzalp Kılıçaslan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Acun Uçma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuzey Ucatekin having to interfere. A hard shot 16 in the game by Fikri Trabzonlu from a close distance when the talented Kuzey Ucatekin managed to make a qualified save. Düzköy SK's players were relieved. When Rahman Birhan came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Düzköy SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rahman Birhan couldn't finish the play. Fikri Trabzonlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Kuzey Ucatekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Cankiri's Acun Uçma slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kuzey Ucatekin. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. With a little luck, Düzköy SK's Kuzey Ucatekin got control of the ball when Fikri Trabzonlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute Acun Uçma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuzey Ucatekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Düzköy SK's goalkeeper Kuzey Ucatekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Acun Uçma. 36 minutes into the match, Düzköy SK's goal looked a bit too open when Acun Uçma came free, but Kuzey Ucatekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kuzey Ucatekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acun Uçma, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nurtekin Osmanoğulları made a kick off. After 54 minutes Cankiri's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serbülent Rami who took care of the corner kick. Samet Oyum tried in the 54th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Ahmet Danış Dikici a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-1. Kuzey Ucatekin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fikri Trabzonlu's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. When Acun Uçma fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cankiri's protests and gave Acun Uçma a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Acun Uçma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cankiri booed when Düzköy SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuzalp Kılıçaslan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nurtekin Osmanoğulları charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nurtekin Osmanoğulları the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Düzköy SK's Kuzey Ucatekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acun Uçma in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Fikri Trabzonlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cankiri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fikri Trabzonlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Düzköy SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
