After a rather tough play, Cimbom Oldboys's Kamil Kırdar got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Muhsin Benli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Şakir Kumukbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Cimbom Oldboys's Aşık Zirve got control of the ball when Macit Uraltan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Muhsin Benli succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. If Muhsin Benli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rahim Refettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 22 minutes into the game, Macit Uraltan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aşık Zirve. Macit Uraltan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Rahim Refettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Abidin Ramazan fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cimbom Oldboys's protests and gave Abidin Ramazan a yellow card for diving instead. 31 minutes into the game, one of Cimbom Oldboys:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Şakir Kumukbay came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Cimbom Oldboys's Tan Çinuçin. But to his dismay, Tan Çinuçin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Ahmet Nasir Eker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şakir Kumukbay having to interfere. Şakir Kumukbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Nasir Eker in the 47th minute of play. In the 49th minute, Macit Uraltan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Muhsin Benli to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Şakir Kumukbay managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Cimbom Oldboys's Muhsin Benli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 72 in the game by Muhsin Benli from a close distance when the talented Şakir Kumukbay managed to make a qualified save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Macit Uraltan in the 88th minute of play forced Cimbom Oldboys's goalkeeper Aşık Zirve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şakir Kumukbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhsin Benli, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Macit Uraltan in the 97th minute of play forced Cimbom Oldboys's goalkeeper Aşık Zirve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tan Çinuçin charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tan Çinuçin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th match minute, Cimbom Oldboys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tan Çinuçin to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rahim Refettin in the 99th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aşık Zirve prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cimbom Oldboys's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
