Güneri Kızılaslan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruhi Acabey in the 34th minute of play forced fetosaray FK's goalkeeper Murat Ersayın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in horasanspor's zone, Bahtiyar Ensar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güneri Kızılaslan came out of the goal and Bahtiyar Ensar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Güneri Kızılaslan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Halis İnan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Barış Akıncıbeyoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. horasanspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Barış Akıncıbeyoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murat Ersayın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute, Ruhi Acabey fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ruhi Acabey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Murat Ersayın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nejat Pekol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruhi Acabey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murat Ersayın having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
