Doğuş Üstüner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 played minutes Edirne SK got a freekick which was hit by Birdal Uluşahin. If Doğuş Üstüner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Köksal Sebuktekin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Duman Ergüven was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Songurbey Okman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Köksal Sebuktekin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duman Ergüven was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Halkapinar's zone, Köksal Sebuktekin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duman Ergüven came out of the goal and Köksal Sebuktekin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute of the match Mustafa Oğuz İdil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hazım Berksan skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Halkapinar's Onuralp Siralp slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hazım Berksan. That made the score 1-2 after 47 minutes of play. The Halkapinar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Edirne SK were winning 1-2.

Ruhi Sabi struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Hazım Berksan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halkapinar. Onuralp Siralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doğuş Üstüner in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hazım Berksan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Köksal Sebuktekin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duman Ergüven read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Şükrü Osman kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Duman Ergüven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Songurbey Okman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Edirne SK's goalkeeper Hazım Berksan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Doğuş Üstüner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doğuş Üstüner struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Hazım Berksan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halkapinar. Edirne SK's Hazım Berksan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doğuş Üstüner in the 91st minute of play. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Edirne SK! The referee gave Halkapinar a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mustafa Oğuz İdil, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Edirne SK's Hazım Berksan. 2-2. After 102 played minutes Edirne SK got a freekick which was hit by Şükrü Osman. Halkapinar's Mustafa Oğuz İdil couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 103rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Edirne SK. Despite being the better team, Halkapinar failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
