When Aykan Akbal fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarabya's protests and gave Aykan Akbal a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arın Ferhat Kerem in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Süleyman Kayra saved Tarabya from getting behind. Bahtiyar Denizcan kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Tarabya's goal looked a bit too open when Arın Ferhat Kerem came free, but Süleyman Kayra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Süleyman Kayra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mirza Rüştü in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Enis Yörükoğlu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bayındır Nurbay skillfully saved the ball. Esenler FK's Bayındır Nurbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Süleyman Tanaltay in the 33rd minute of play. Cengiz Nadir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayındır Nurbay having to interfere. The Tarabya fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Tarabya's Cengiz Nadir looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Süleyman Tanaltay made a kick off. Tarabya's Süleyman Tanaltay got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bayındır Nurbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Süleyman Tanaltay in the 58th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Süleyman Tanaltay in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bayındır Nurbay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mümin Necat hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Tarabya's Süleyman Kayra got control of the ball when Oğuzer Necat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tarabya's Bahtiyar Denizcan suffered a sore thigh after 67 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Korcan Şahbey fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esenler FK's protests and gave Korcan Şahbey a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Korcan Şahbey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 71 minutes, Süleyman Tanaltay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarabya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Süleyman Tanaltay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rıza Temizkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayındır Nurbay having to interfere. Cengiz Nadir's late challenge caught a Esenler FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cengiz Nadir helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tarabya's Cengiz Nadir got a free kick in the 77th minute. Cengiz Nadir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayındır Nurbay having to interfere. Esenler FK's Mirza Rüştü got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bayındır Nurbay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cengiz Nadir went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the game, Mirza Rüştü was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esenler FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tarabya the free kick. After 89 played minutes Esenler FK got a freekick which was hit by Mirza Rüştü. If Mirza Rüştü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarabya were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Esenler FK for a fine match.
