The supporters of AkkuşFC booed when CLB Kocaeli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Behlül Benli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orhun Necmi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teoman Hacıağa. CLB Kocaeli's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. CLB Kocaeli's Teoman Hacıağa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baybora İdil in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, one of AkkuşFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ünal Cihansah shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Baybora İdil sped through CLB Kocaeli's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teoman Hacıağa. 23 minutes into the game, AkkuşFC's Baybora İdil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teoman Hacıağa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 28th match minute, CLB Kocaeli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorukhan Seccac to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in CLB Kocaeli's zone, Berkant Altıncı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teoman Hacıağa came out of the goal and Berkant Altıncı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Baybora İdil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teoman Hacıağa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Baybora İdil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AkkuşFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Derya Baytugay scored to the left of an out of position Orbay Yağan, making the score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Derya Baytugay to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes AkkuşFC got a freekick which was hit by Esat Başhekim. In the 58th minute, Baybora İdil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Baybora İdil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teoman Hacıağa was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Orbay Yağan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derya Baytugay, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Oğuz Vahdet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orbay Yağan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orbay Yağan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derya Baytugay in the 71st minute of play. Derya Baytugay scored 2-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orbay Yağan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oğuz Vahdet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orbay Yağan having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, AkkuşFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorukhan Seccac came free, but Orbay Yağan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berkant Altıncı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teoman Hacıağa having to interfere.
