Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. FenerBahçe's Anıl Mücahit Ercan suffered a concussion after 9 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuri Oncel during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FenerBahçe booed when Termal FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuri Oncel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reha Yaman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rüştü Barbaros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reha Yaman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Yağızalp Niyaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haşmet Paksoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rüştü Barbaros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taci Hafızoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Haşmet Paksoy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Yağızalp Niyaz kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Yağızalp Niyaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Yağızalp Niyaz made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FenerBahçe getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Taci Hafızoğlu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Termal FK's zone, Ahmet Ömür Tuncer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rüştü Barbaros came out of the goal and Ahmet Ömür Tuncer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FenerBahçe's Haşmet Paksoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yağızalp Niyaz in the 57th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 59th minute when Yağızalp Niyaz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rüştü Barbaros made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Reha Yaman sent off a good shot on target. Haşmet Paksoy came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Termal FK's Yağızalp Niyaz. But to his dismay, Yağızalp Niyaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Yağızalp Niyaz struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Haşmet Paksoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Termal FK. Nuri Oncel hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Ahmet Ömür Tuncer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Termal FK's zone, Reha Yaman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rüştü Barbaros came out of the goal and Reha Yaman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, İsmail Cem Şemseddin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Reha Yaman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
