With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Bülent Doğangün in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Levent Akyol saved KASTAMONU SPOR from getting behind. Levent Akyol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Bülent Doğangün, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Levent Akyol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Bülent Doğangün in the 9th minute of the match. KASTAMONU SPOR were furious when Sezai Gökalp was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Barlas Uğurlu shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. KASTAMONU SPOR's Levent Akyol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Bülent Doğangün in the 20th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, KASTAMONU SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Bülent Doğangün came free, but Levent Akyol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Gürel Orcun managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 38th minute, Beşiktaş 03's Ahmet Bülent Doğangün dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Vahdet Birsen's late challenge caught a Beşiktaş 03's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vahdet Birsen helped the player get up and apologised. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
