When Dernekpazari's Aytunç Delfin in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Galatasaray Ruhu were furious when Ali Behzat Şemseddin was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 14 minutes into the game, one of Galatasaray Ruhu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Dernekpazari. Kutluay Çakır stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Faruk Nafiz Yumlu. 1-1. In the 26th minute Çelik Beybolat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faruk Nafiz Yumlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Dernekpazari's Aytunç Delfin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faruk Nafiz Yumlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Faruk Nafiz Yumlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aytunç Delfin, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Faruk Nafiz Yumlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çelik Beybolat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Metehan Ecemiş made a kick off. With a little luck, Galatasaray Ruhu's Faruk Nafiz Yumlu got control of the ball when Aytunç Delfin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Aytunç Delfin came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Dernekpazari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aytunç Delfin couldn't finish the play. Doğuş Akkoç received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Faruk Nafiz Yumlu came out and tried to block the shot, but Doğuş Akkoç slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 59th minute. Zeynel İnegöllü charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeynel İnegöllü the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Galatasaray Ruhu got a freekick which was hit by Zeynel İnegöllü. Galatasaray Ruhu's Faruk Nafiz Yumlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Galatasaray Ruhu from getting a goal against them. Dernekpazari's Kutluay Orbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Metehan Ecemiş in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Kutluay Çakır managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dernekpazari's supporters rose to their feet, but Kutluay Çakır was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faruk Nafiz Yumlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faruk Nafiz Yumlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çelik Beybolat, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Çelik Beybolat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faruk Nafiz Yumlu having to make a save. Faruk Nafiz Yumlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doğuş Akkoç in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Dernekpazari's Doğuş Akkoç dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Faruk Nafiz Yumlu came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Dernekpazari's Çelik Beybolat. But to his dismay, Çelik Beybolat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Kutluay Çakır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Dernekpazari's Doğuş Akkoç dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8.
