In the 2nd minute, Ali Orhan Kayrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Caner Esentürk fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Umitspor's protests and gave Caner Esentürk a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of BassMan booed when Umitspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caner Esentürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Müslüm Sidam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Üzeyir Sebih in the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Anıl Cenk Ilımlı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Umitspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anıl Cenk Ilımlı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BassMan's Müslüm Sidam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save BassMan from getting a goal against them. Üzeyir Sebih struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Müslüm Sidam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umitspor. A collision led to BassMan getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Menderes Boran hit a great ball. When Gökçen Hükümran came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the BassMan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökçen Hükümran couldn't finish the play. Gökçen Hükümran kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to Umitspor getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Caner Esentürk hit a great ball. Caner Esentürk was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Umitspor's Caner Esentürk got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Anıl Cenk Ilımlı scored 1-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Müslüm Sidam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andaç Hataylı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökçen Hükümran, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Gökçen Hükümran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andaç Hataylı having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anıl Cenk Ilımlı was the one to do the kick off. Anıl Cenk Ilımlı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Müslüm Sidam having to make a save. 2-1 became the score in the 71st minute when Anıl Cenk Ilımlı elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 89th minute Hasan Ali Baydan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andaç Hataylı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anıl Cenk Ilımlı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müslüm Sidam having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Umitspor players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
