Osman Nuri Çanak's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Batu Sunullah firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 21st minute Hikmet Tunçkılıç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Haydar Civanmert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sarköy JK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Recep Başayoğlu hit a great ball. Hilmi Özata had several of the Yenice's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Batu Sunullah as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sarköy JK's Ali Haydar Civanmert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hikmet Tunçkılıç in the 29th minute of play. Hilmi Özata struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Batu Sunullah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarköy JK. After having played for 32 minutes, Recep Başayoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarköy JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Recep Başayoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Yenice's Batu Sunullah got control of the ball when Hilmi Özata tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bulut Tibet hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mustafa İzzet İdrisoğlu was the one to do the kick off. The long shot by Ali Atıf Aksun in the 52nd minute really tested Ali Haydar Civanmert's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hilmi Özata in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Batu Sunullah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute of the match Sarköy JK got a corner. Yenice's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kadim Seyban ran over to the corner to take the kick. Batu Sunullah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilmi Özata, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ziya Onay during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
