If Rahim Egin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yüce Akıncıbey's late challenge caught a Altintas FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yüce Akıncıbey helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SİVASSPOR58's Yüce Akıncıbey got a free kick in the 8th minute. After 13 minutes, Recep Sirri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altintas FK and the SİVASSPOR58 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SİVASSPOR58 booed when Altintas FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Recep Sirri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdülhak Hacısalihoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahim Egin in the 15th minute of play. Deniz Kocaman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aşkın Uyguner in the 16th minute. SİVASSPOR58's Aşkın Uyguner got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Altintas FK's Rahim Egin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdülhak Hacısalihoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 28th minute Rahim Egin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdülhak Hacısalihoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, İsmail Hakkı Baykam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deniz Kocaman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aşkın Uyguner in the 32nd minute. İsmail Hakkı Baykam struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Deniz Kocaman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SİVASSPOR58. Aşkın Uyguner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Deniz Kocaman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deniz Kocaman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İsmail Hakkı Baykam's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. İsmail Hakkı Baykam hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İsmail Hakkı Baykam to make the kick off. İsmail Hakkı Baykam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Deniz Kocaman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Deniz Kocaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İsmail Hakkı Baykam in the 78th minute of the match. İsmail Hakkı Baykam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Deniz Kocaman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hami Ceberut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aşkın Uyguner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deniz Kocaman having to interfere. If Aşkın Uyguner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdülhak Hacısalihoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rahim Egin, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Rıfat Türkoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altintas FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SİVASSPOR58 the free kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Altintas FK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
