Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hidayet Mevlit kicked off to start the match. Güven Tercan came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gürhan Cangiray could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in KİNG GÖZTEPE's zone, Lokman Akçakıl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürhan Cangiray came out of the goal and Lokman Akçakıl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Emir Korcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cihat Mutlualp in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of KİNG GÖZTEPE booed when GALATASARAY SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lokman Akçakıl didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Cihat Mutlualp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Emir Korcan was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After 15 minutes, Cihat Mutlualp made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. GALATASARAY SK's Ahmet Emir Korcan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the game, KİNG GÖZTEPE's Hidayet Mevlit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 32nd minute Cihat Mutlualp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Emir Korcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hidayet Mevlit's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Emir Korcan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. GALATASARAY SK's Güven Tercan got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Emir Korcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hidayet Mevlit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hidayet Mevlit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Güven Tercan made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Ahmet Emir Korcan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cihat Mutlualp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Emir Korcan having to interfere. Ahmet Emir Korcan was a little too slow when Hidayet Mevlit got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-3. A collision led to GALATASARAY SK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Kemal Taha hit a great ball. If Hidayet Mevlit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Emir Korcan was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Hidayet Mevlit capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hidayet Mevlit really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Ahmet Emir Korcan made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Cihat Mutlualp sent off a good shot on target. After 79 minutes, Nurkan Ilgın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KİNG GÖZTEPE and the GALATASARAY SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Nurkan Ilgın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY SK's goal looked a bit too open when Hidayet Mevlit came free, but Ahmet Emir Korcan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
