An unexpectedly hard shot by Güneş Şahdar in the 9th minute of play forced Gölmarmara's goalkeeper Ahmet Kağan Rehber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Güneş Şahdar came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Hüyük fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güneş Şahdar couldn't finish the play. Ferman Kutlutekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute of the match Arda Göksel Ocakoğlu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Kağan Rehber showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Hüyük's Abayhan Bozkurt got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Sebati Üstün ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baturay Şahsuvar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gölmarmara's Tahsin Topel got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Gölmarmara's goalkeeper Ahmet Kağan Rehber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abayhan Bozkurt. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Güneş Şahdar was the one to do the kick off. 1-2 became the score in the 52nd minute when Güneş Şahdar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Gölmarmara's goal looked a bit too open when Güneş Şahdar came free, but Ahmet Kağan Rehber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferman Kutlutekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Kağan Rehber having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Gölmarmara:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hüyük:s goal.
