In the 9th minute Münir Yelmen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İsmail Hakkı Tolgay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garip Tuğsav recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Garip Tuğsav received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Berker Savtur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İsmail Hakkı Tolgay was a little too slow when Münir Yelmen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 21 played minutes Galatasaray S.K got a freekick which was hit by Şamil Tanay. In the 22ndth minute of the game Münir Yelmen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galatasaray S.K's İsmail Hakkı Tolgay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Berker Savtur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garip Tuğsav in the 25th minute of play. Münir Yelmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsmail Hakkı Tolgay having to interfere. If Ali Orhan Nurullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Nabi Okgüç hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes Galatasaray S.K got a freekick which was hit by Şamil Tanay. Ali Orhan Nurullah in the 49thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of İsmail Hakkı Tolgay, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 53 minutes, Ahmet Göktuğ Hürmetli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buharkent and the Galatasaray S.K players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ahmet Göktuğ Hürmetli hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Ali Orhan Nurullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ali Orhan Nurullah came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Buharkent fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Orhan Nurullah couldn't finish the play. İsmail Hakkı Tolgay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Münir Yelmen in the 59th minute of play. When Buharkent's Ali Orhan Nurullah in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galatasaray S.K's goalie prevented a goal. Burhan Enginsoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsmail Hakkı Tolgay having to interfere. Münir Yelmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Buharkent getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Burhan Enginsoy hit a great ball. If Onur Ali Kürşat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Orhan Nurullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. İsmail Hakkı Tolgay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Galatasaray S.K's İsmail Hakkı Tolgay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Münir Yelmen in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Ali Nabi Okgüç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galatasaray S.K's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buharkent the free kick. Galatasaray S.K's İsmail Hakkı Tolgay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Münir Yelmen in the 85th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Münir Yelmen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Buharkent had played much better football throughout.
