Caner Özel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trabzonspor. Sezgin Kutuner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Caner Özel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Songurhan Demircan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Ümitköy's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 15 minutes into the match, Ümitköy's Songurhan Demircan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Berkan Kaplan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Umur Safih came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Trabzonspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umur Safih couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute Eşref Keskiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caner Özel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes Ümitköy got a freekick which was hit by Tayfun Oykan. In the game's 23rd minute Trabzonspor's Altay Hadim took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Caner Özel and thus the score was 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Ümitköy's goal looked a bit too open when Sezgin Kutuner came free, but Caner Özel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Trabzonspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Altay Hadim to maneuver through the defense. Songurhan Demircan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th match minute, Trabzonspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Çelebi Taymaz to maneuver through the defense. Eşref Keskiner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Caner Özel having to make a save. Arif Ozan Afşar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Trabzonspor were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute, Batu Cem Afacan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match Abayhan Denizalp shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Berkan Kaplan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Ozan Afşar in the 69th minute of play forced Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Berkan Kaplan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Selçuk Türkşen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Berkan Kaplan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Arif Ozan Afşar hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sezgin Kutuner in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caner Özel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ümitköy's Selçuk Türkşen got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Trabzonspor defense, Songurhan Demircan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berkan Kaplan. The Trabzonspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berkan Kaplan should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Ümitköy's goal looked a bit too open when Sezgin Kutuner came free, but Caner Özel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ümitköy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
