Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hatay's İskender Baki Tokkan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Trabzonspor defense, İskender Baki Tokkan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdi Saygın Naşit. The Trabzonspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdi Saygın Naşit should have stopped the shot. After 8 minutes, Anıl Ege Ertaş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hatay and the Trabzonspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Hatay getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Anıl Ege Ertaş hit a great ball. Fedai Tanyıldız was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kubat Nevzat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 11 minute of play. Trabzonspor's Ahmet Hafiz İltekin got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mehmet Hamdi Karhan fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hatay's protests and gave Mehmet Hamdi Karhan a yellow card for diving instead. Mehmet Hamdi Karhan kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Suat Bakanay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hatay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Suat Bakanay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Suat Bakanay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Hatay were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd match minute, Hatay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anıl Ege Ertaş to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Hafiz İltekin in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fedai Tanyıldız saved Hatay from getting behind. 56 minutes into the match, Hatay's goal looked a bit too open when Birsel Genişyürek came free, but Fedai Tanyıldız reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Çağrı Taceddin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fedai Tanyıldız. Hatay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. İskender Baki Tokkan hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Ahmet Hafiz İltekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Fedai Tanyıldız tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Hatay got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Hamdi Karhan. Fedai Tanyıldız showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Hafiz İltekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Ahmet Nafiz Onultan charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Nafiz Onultan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute Yavuz Sayrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedai Tanyıldız saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erkut Tuğkun kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ahmet Çağrı Taceddin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trabzonspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Çağrı Taceddin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fedai Tanyıldız breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hatay's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
