Demirköy SK's Atalan Alptekin got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ege İlbeyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atalan Alptekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute Orhun Soysan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ege İlbeyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Samatya SK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Şehzade Kutlug hit a great ball. If Atalan Alptekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Demirköy SK booed when Samatya SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Semih Deniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 minutes Demirköy SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Asrın Azer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Samatya SK's Asrın Azer to fire away a dangerous shot which Behiç Lütfi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Atalan Alptekin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Samatya SK's Ege İlbeyi. Ege İlbeyi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samatya SK's Ege İlbeyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atalan Alptekin in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Samatya SK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Şehzade Kutlug hit a great ball. Behiç Lütfi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fazıl Hüsnü Gürler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orhun Soysan struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ege İlbeyi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Demirköy SK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atalan Alptekin in the 40th minute of play forced Samatya SK's goalkeeper Ege İlbeyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fazıl Hüsnü Gürler to strike the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Gökalp Topuz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Behiç Lütfi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orhun Soysan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ege İlbeyi came out and tried to block the shot, but Orhun Soysan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 72nd minute. Orhun Soysan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Ege İlbeyi made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Demirköy SK's zone, Şehzade Kutlug stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Behiç Lütfi came out of the goal and Şehzade Kutlug tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ahmet Gökalp Topuz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samatya SK's Asrın Azer pulled a muscle in his back after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Orhun Soysan charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orhun Soysan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, Demirköy SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orhun Soysan to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ahmet Gökalp Topuz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samatya SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Gökalp Topuz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Behiç Lütfi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ege İlbeyi made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Orhun Soysan sent off a good shot on target. Ege İlbeyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atalan Alptekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Demirköy SK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
