The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mehmet Arif Unsur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Zara's goal looked a bit too open when Cenan Geçimoğlu came free, but Gökçek İmruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Kağan Olguner struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Gökçek İmruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SaKaRYa SpoR. If Arcan Zülfikar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mehmet Arif Unsur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SaKaRYa SpoR's Recep Zafer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arcan Zülfikar in the 20th minute of play. Arcan Zülfikar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cenan Geçimoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökçek İmruz having to interfere. Gökçek İmruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Kağan Olguner in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of SaKaRYa SpoR booed when Zara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinçer Onuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cenan Geçimoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökçek İmruz having to interfere. In the 35th minute Ali Kağan Olguner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökçek İmruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Arcan Zülfikar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Recep Zafer was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Recep Zafer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arcan Zülfikar in the 44th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ali Kağan Olguner made the kick off in the second half. SaKaRYa SpoR were furious when Seyit Okdemir was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in SaKaRYa SpoR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! Dinçer Onuk placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! With a little luck, Zara's Gökçek İmruz got control of the ball when Cenan Geçimoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arcan Zülfikar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Recep Zafer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Recep Zafer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Arif Unsur, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 77th minute, Zara's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Erdinç Cerme fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dinçer Onuk hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. If Cenan Geçimoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Recep Zafer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arcan Zülfikar in the 87th minute of play. Arcan Zülfikar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Cenan Geçimoğlu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cenan Geçimoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Gökçek İmruz made a huge save. Recep Zafer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arcan Zülfikar in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Zara players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
