If Gökçe Tuğkun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SAMSUN SK's Yılmaz Ergünay got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Ali Hamza Tancan fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yalihüyük's protests and gave Ali Hamza Tancan a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Batur Tosunoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAMSUN SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Batur Tosunoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berk Diclehan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berk Diclehan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökçe Tuğkun in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Çeliker Karadağ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, SAMSUN SK's Batur Tosunoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berk Diclehan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Batur Tosunoğlu in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berk Diclehan saved Yalihüyük from getting behind. If Gökçe Tuğkun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Batur Tosunoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berk Diclehan was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 39th minute Gökçe Tuğkun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berk Diclehan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gökçe Tuğkun in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berk Diclehan saved Yalihüyük from getting behind. Eralp Şakir made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Sungurhan Sarıcabay sent off a good shot on target.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Çeliker Karadağ was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Gökçe Tuğkun managed to get in a good position for a shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Yalihüyük:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SAMSUN SK:s goal. Batur Tosunoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Berk Diclehan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Batur Tosunoğlu got free with Berk Diclehan in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the game, Sungurhan Sarıcabay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Eralp Şakir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Batur Tosunoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the game, Batur Tosunoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAMSUN SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yalihüyük the free kick. Batur Tosunoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Berk Diclehan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökçe Tuğkun in the 91st minute of the match. A hard shot 95 in the game by Batur Tosunoğlu from a close distance when the talented Berk Diclehan managed to make a qualified save. Yalihüyük's players were relieved. Batur Tosunoğlu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Berk Diclehan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. SAMSUN SK played a much better game than Yalihüyük and deserved their victory. The Yalihüyük players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
