Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Abbas Vecdet made the kick off and thus started the match. Galatasaray's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Mustafa Hamit Altuncuoğlu scored to the left of an out of position Mevlüt Somer, making the score, 1-0. Ali Kürşat Sertel charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Kürşat Sertel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute Ahmet Baki Usbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bedir Zekeriya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Halit Ülkümen in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bedir Zekeriya saved Balgat JK from getting behind. Halit Ülkümen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bedir Zekeriya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bedir Zekeriya came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray's Halit Ülkümen. But to his dismay, Halit Ülkümen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Bedir Zekeriya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halit Ülkümen, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Abbas Vecdet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mevlüt Somer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Ertaç Haspolatlı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İlmi Ruçhan hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Abbas Vecdet might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mevlüt Somer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abbas Vecdet ran back to his position shaking his head. Mevlüt Somer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abbas Vecdet, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when Balgat JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sacit Dolunay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ertaç Haspolatlı took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bedir Zekeriya. Bedir Zekeriya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Halit Ülkümen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bedir Zekeriya having to interfere. Ahmet Baki Usbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Halit Ülkümen got a free kick in the 69th minute. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when Balgat JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seyhun Budun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Baki Usbay was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Baki Usbay in the 75th minute of play forced Balgat JK's goalkeeper Bedir Zekeriya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gökay Ülküsel hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Halit Ülkümens short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Bedir Zekeriya to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Halit Ülkümen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray's supporters rose to their feet, but Halit Ülkümen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bedir Zekeriya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Halit Ülkümen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Halit Ülkümen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bedir Zekeriya. Balgat JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Halit Ülkümen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Ahmet Baki Usbay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Galatasaray could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Balgat JK throughout the match.
