After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Orkun Afacan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zara SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Orkun Afacan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hasan Ali Mahir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ferdi Davarcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erdem Çelebi kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Ercüment Ulağ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osman Turaç struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ferhan Hürkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Persembe SK. When Ercüment Ulağ came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Persembe SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ercüment Ulağ couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Zara SK's Orkun Afacan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hasan Ali Mahir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orkun Afacan in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hasan Ali Mahir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orkun Afacan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Hasan Ali Mahir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdi Davarcı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ercüment Ulağ came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Persembe SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ercüment Ulağ couldn't finish the play. Ferhan Hürkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osman Turaç in the 60th minute of play. After 65 minutes, Şeray Çelenk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zara SK and the Persembe SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ercüment Ulağ took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferhan Hürkan. Ferhan Hürkan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After having played for 72 minutes, Ferdi Davarcı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zara SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdi Davarcı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osman Turaç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferhan Hürkan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ercüment Ulağ went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Persembe SK's Ercüment Ulağ got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferhan Hürkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercüment Ulağ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orkun Afacan struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Hasan Ali Mahir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zara SK. Ferdi Davarcı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasan Ali Mahir having to interfere. Hasan Ali Mahir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdi Davarcı, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. If Ferdi Davarcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Persembe SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
