After having played for 10 minutes, Ufuk Korhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inegöl SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ufuk Korhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bülent Lokman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ufuk Korhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Inegöl SK's zone, Kayhan Cezar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birol Erbelgin came out of the goal and Kayhan Cezar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Ufuk Korhan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bülent Lokman, 1-1. If Seyrani Geylanoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inegöl SK's Birol Erbelgin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seyrani Geylanoğlu in the 40th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kayhan Cezar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Gafur Çalapover fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inegöl SK's protests and gave Gafur Çalapover a yellow card for diving instead. Inegöl SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Kayhan Cezar scored to the left of an out of position Birol Erbelgin, making the score, 1-2. Ufuk Korhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bülent Lokman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
