Demirkol FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aksoy the free kick. If Orhan Veli İçkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Battal Cüneyt Değirmenci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ertan Özluer in the 22nd minute of the match. Ertan Özluer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Battal Cüneyt Değirmenci having to interfere. The Demirkol FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aksoy were winning 0-1.

Aksoy's Egemen Kemalettin got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Demirkol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ertan Özluer came free, but Battal Cüneyt Değirmenci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Battal Cüneyt Değirmenci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ertan Özluer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Battal Cüneyt Değirmenci having to make a save. Orhan Veli İçkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orhan Veli İçkin kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 79thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Demirkol FC's keeper Battal Cüneyt Değirmenci was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Aksoy's Ertan Özluer in the 81st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Battal Cüneyt Değirmenci was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Demirkol FC through an amazing save. In the last second Battal Cüneyt Değirmenci throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ertan Özluer in the 82ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 84 minutes into the match, Orhan Veli İçkin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Battal Cüneyt Değirmenci. Demirkol FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orhan Veli İçkin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When Ertan Özluer came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Aksoy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ertan Özluer couldn't finish the play. The Demirkol FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Aksoy's performance. The match ended with a win for Aksoy.
