Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Şenol Irgat took the kick off in the first half of the match. Muhsin Saraç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şenol Irgat in the 3rd minute of play. After having played for 5 minutes, Turgay Neşit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KASTAMONU SPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Turgay Neşit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Turgay Neşit took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Orhan Seyfi Şanalp to make any attempt to save it. Nurkan Özker in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Orhan Seyfi Şanalp, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 15th play minute Nurkan Özker came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Orhan Seyfi Şanalp. 2-0. In the 20th minute, Şenol Irgat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Muhsin Saraç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muharrem Tara in the 21st minute of play. Turgay Neşit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kayacan Çınar in the 25th minute of play forced Giresun Spor's goalkeeper Orhan Seyfi Şanalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, Giresun Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Anıl Ağaverdi to maneuver through the defense. Giresun Spor's Orhan Seyfi Şanalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Giresun Spor from getting a goal against them. Orhan Seyfi Şanalp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Turgay Neşit went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Muhsin Saraç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sarp Mülayim in the 36th minute of the match. Giresun Spor's Orhan Seyfi Şanalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barışcan Sati in the 38th minute of play. Muhsin Saraç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şenol Irgat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th match minute, Giresun Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Anıl Ağaverdi to maneuver through the defense. When Barışcan Sati came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the KASTAMONU SPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barışcan Sati couldn't finish the play. Barışcan Sati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Orhan Seyfi Şanalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Turgay Neşit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in KASTAMONU SPOR's zone, Muharrem Tara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muhsin Saraç came out of the goal and Muharrem Tara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orhan Seyfi Şanalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgay Neşit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Muharrem Tara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Muhsin Saraç made a huge save. Latif Sarı hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute of the match Nurkan Özker sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orhan Seyfi Şanalp skillfully saved the ball. Orhan Seyfi Şanalp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arif Nihat Müfit's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 74th minute, Barışcan Sati got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Turgay Neşit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Giresun Spor's Şenol Irgat got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Turgay Neşit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Giresun Spor defense, Kayacan Çınar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orhan Seyfi Şanalp. The Giresun Spor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orhan Seyfi Şanalp should have stopped the shot. KASTAMONU SPOR's Barışcan Sati got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Giresun Spor's zone, Barışcan Sati stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orhan Seyfi Şanalp came out of the goal and Barışcan Sati tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that KASTAMONU SPOR were the better team. KASTAMONU SPOR's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
