A wasted opportunity for Emek SK. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Nejat Akbal sped through Kasımpaşa SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zeki Salur. A collision led to Emek SK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Yunus Hasanbeyli hit a great ball. Kasımpaşa SK's Güven Kadrican got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Güven Kadricans short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Gökay Kayhan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emek SK's Gökay Kayhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Emek SK from getting a goal against them. Zeki Salur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nejat Akbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Emek SK's goalkeeper Gökay Kayhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Aysan Muzaffer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remzi Okuyan kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Ceyhan Karadeniz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gökay Kayhan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Kasımpaşa SK's Sinan Taşkınay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gökay Kayhan. That made the score 1-2 after 35 minutes of play. Ahmet Ali Toran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeki Salur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. If Sinan Taşkınay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Güven Kadrican managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kasımpaşa SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Güven Kadrican was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gökay Kayhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sinan Taşkınay made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Emek SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merih Canalp to maneuver through the defense. Emek SK's Gökay Kayhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güven Kadrican in the 57th minute of play. Nejat Akbal did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Zeki Salur 61 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the game, Sinan Taşkınay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Gökay Kayhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute, Nejat Akbal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Sinan Taşkınay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gökay Kayhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 89th minute of the match, Nejat Akbal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zeki Salur saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
