After a rather tough play, Kocatepe FK's Günay Kaygun got a free kick in the 9th minute. Baybora Ziyaettin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 15 minutes into the game, Bozdogan's Orhan Seyfi Ruhsat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baybora Ziyaettin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After having played for 19 minutes, Ahmet Hakan Karadağ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kocatepe FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Hakan Karadağ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Hakan Karadağ in the 22nd minute of play forced Bozdogan's goalkeeper Serhan Nadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İskender Baki Savlet kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Ahmet Hakan Karadağ came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Kocatepe FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Hakan Karadağ couldn't finish the play. After 32 played minutes Bozdogan got a freekick which was hit by Reis Demirhan. Kocatepe FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yüksel İstemihan in the 35th minute. The corner led Kocatepe FK's Ali Galip Cihangir to fire away a dangerous shot which Serhan Nadi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Bozdogan booed when Kocatepe FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Günay Kaygun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Hamza Kınıkaslan kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Baybora Ziyaettin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orhan Seyfi Ruhsat in the 43rd minute.

The wind increased when Bilgehan Soysan made the kick off in the second half. Orhan Seyfi Ruhsat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 53 minutes, Ahmet Hakan Karadağ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kocatepe FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Hakan Karadağ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baybora Ziyaettin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orhan Seyfi Ruhsat, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Orhan Seyfi Ruhsat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bozdogan's supporters rose to their feet, but Orhan Seyfi Ruhsat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baybora Ziyaettin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bilgehan Soysan came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Bozdogan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bilgehan Soysan couldn't finish the play. Bilgehan Soysan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Baybora Ziyaettin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kocatepe FK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. İsmail Hakkı Oncubay hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Kocatepe FK's goal looked a bit too open when Bilgehan Soysan came free, but Baybora Ziyaettin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serhan Nadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Hamza Kınıkaslan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Orhan Seyfi Ruhsat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baybora Ziyaettin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bilgehan Soysan in the 84th minute of play. When Bozdogan's Bilgehan Soysan, in the 89th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Bozdogan. 96 minutes into the match, Kocatepe FK's goal looked a bit too open when Orhan Seyfi Ruhsat came free, but Baybora Ziyaettin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bozdogan had played much better football throughout.
